Medlive has partnered with the Pancreatic Cancer Action Network (PanCAN) to expand access to critical information and resources for patients impacted by pancreatic cancer.
This collaboration, launched during Pancreatic Cancer Awareness Month, addresses a growing crisis: pancreatic cancer remains the third leading cause of cancer-related deaths in the United States, with a five-year survival rate of just 13%, according to PanCAN Data.1 Early detection and access to specialized care are crucial, yet many patients and their families still lack awareness of symptoms and treatment options.
Through the partnership, Medlive will work with PanCAN to deliver educational programming, connect patients with expert resources, and raise awareness about the disease’s warning signs.
Pancreatic cancer remains one of the most challenging diseases in oncology today.
PanCAN leads the fight through free one-to-one patient support, clinical trial connection tools like Know Your Tumor® and national advocacy efforts.
By pairing Medlive’s video-first medical education platform with PanCAN’s trusted patient-support expertise, this partnership will increase awareness, improve clinical understanding, and amplify critical resources needed across the pancreatic cancer community.
“PanCAN is proud to collaborate with Medlive to expand access to trusted, high-quality education about pancreatic cancer. As the leading organization dedicated to advancing progress against this disease, we remain deeply committed to ensuring clinicians have the resources they need and that patients are at the center of every effort. Together, we are strengthening the landscape of continuing medical education and driving meaningful impact for the pancreatic cancer community.”
— Anna Berkenblit, MD, MMSc, Chief Scientific and Medical Officer, PanCAN
The partnership will launch educational programming for patients, caregivers, and healthcare professionals. Patients and caregivers can contact PanCAN Patient Services for free personalized guidance and support. Healthcare professionals can stay tuned for upcoming CME programming.
