Patient-Centered Perspectives: Redesigning Independent Medical Education in the Age of Advocacy
What happens when patients become partners in education?
Today’s patients arrive at appointments informed, opinionated, and ready to engage. But when clinicians aren’t equipped to meet that energy, the result is often confusion, misalignment, and missed opportunities for shared decision-making. As the communication gap widens, independent medical education must evolve to keep up.
This webinar explores how a patient-centered approach can close that gap—empowering clinicians and patients with the tools to connect meaningfully around care.
RSVP now to discover:
- How can we engage patient advocates in education development?
- What tools and tactics help close the clinician–patient knowledge gap?
- How do we audit content strategies to feel personal—not performative?
- What does it take to build educational programs that grow with evolving patient needs?
Whether you’re in medical affairs, educational grants, or advocacy strategy, this expert-led session offers real-world frameworks to help you lead the next era of IME—where education isn’t just delivered, but deeply felt, remembered, and acted upon.
